I went down to the tidal basin at the Jefferson Memorial this morning. A breakfast picnic with friends was divine. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom!

Hooping at the DC Roller Derby
A couple weeks ago I went to the DC Roller Derby. I wanted to show support for my friends in the halftime show.... I wasn't planning on BEING IN the halftime show! Before I knew it a hula hoop was thrust in my hands and we hastily practiced some basic choreography. As we got our collective swerve on, I suddenly realized some friends were in the audience of a couple hundred, cheering loudly. As you can see in this video, made by Dawn Benedetto, I need more practice: Halftime Hooping. Still, it was a total blast and I'm inspired to practice more hoop!

Fiery fun at Burning Man
Spinning fire poi at Burning Man was an out of this world experience. My group rehearsed for months for a chance to perform for a crowd of 35,000+ lovers of life and art. I'm looking forward to Burning Man 2010! Check out www.Burningman.com. This images are simply astounding.

Blank Canvases
I order these BLICK STUDIO Gallery Profile canvases from www.dickblick.com. They will be the foundation for a series of "reassembled" paintings like the ones here: http://www.jetgallery.com/Available.html
